Ths standalone version of top-down run 'n' gun game Venusian Vengeance is now on Steam. Venusian Vengeance was serialized as 5 in-browser episodes here on Newgrounds a year back. The new Steam version contains the full game, as well as an all-new hard mode, which has faster enemies and tougher encounters.

I've just released a trailer for the new installment of the Tales of the Renegade Sector series of episodic action-adventure games. Following up on Castle of the Insect King, the Captain continues his search for Laserbeard's treasure, this time coming to the gates of an ancient abandoned city. However, it won't be easy to reach the treasure, as the city is surround by malevolent stone golems.
I am currently working on a followup to Castle of the Insect King entitled Treasure of the Abandoned City. The Captain continues his search across the planets for Laserbeard's Treasure, this time taking him to the gates of a long Abandoned City. In searching for the treasure, The Captain will uncover a history of conspiracy and treachery that drove the city to ruin, and battle the Stone Golems that guard the lifeless city.
I'm collaborating on the game with the talented Todd Luke, who is providing art. If you want to follow the development of the game, you can go to the DevLog. The game is on its set to come out early 2013.
The game I've been working on for the past 6 months or so is finished. It's been one of the largest scale projects I've worked on and probably the largest I've completed. In the time it took me to make the game, I made ~4 smaller games.
The game is a top-down run 'n' gun taking place on Venus, in an alternate history where the communists won the space race. The game was inspired by 80s action games and movies, as well as 50s sci-fi, particularly soviet sci-fi which depicted Venus as a lush planet covered in swamps and forests.
The game is currently seeking sponsorship on FGL. If you have a developer account on FGL with at least 1 approved game, you can try out the game now and give feedback. While the game is ostensibly finished, I'll likely be tweaking it up to the point I get a sponsorship so feedback would be most welcome.
For the past 6 months, I've been working on a game called Venusian Vengeance. It's a top-down run 'n' gun about shooting communists on Venus. It takes place in an alternate history where the soviets won the space race and colonized Venus. However, the American's weren't far behind with their own space program, and you've been sent to Venus to uncover what the Communists are developing at their secret science station.
The game is close to completion and soon to be looking for sponsorship.
